The four and ten mile canoe trips are the favorite as they may be accomplished in a short time (2 hours & 5 hours or less). These trips are relaxing with only minor fast water that the novice may handle.
The canoeist must use common sense and judgment for a dry trip. The fishing is great thru this stretch. Come early in the morning and chance seeing some of the diverse wildlife. The bald eagles are back and nesting along the ten mile canoe trip. Dress according to the weather and bring spare clothes just in case.
